Privacy Policy

Cadra ("we", "our", "us") operates the Cadra mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Information. When you create an account or complete onboarding, we collect information you provide such as your name, email address, cycling experience level, fitness goals, weekly riding hours, and functional threshold power (FTP).

Workout & Activity Data. When you complete workouts, we collect performance data including duration, distance, heart rate zones, cadence, power output, perceived effort ratings, and ride timestamps.

Third-Party Integrations. If you choose to connect your Strava account, we access activity data through the Strava API in accordance with Strava's terms. You can disconnect this integration at any time.

Device & Sensor Data. With your permission, the App may access Bluetooth-connected sensors (heart rate monitors, power meters, cadence sensors) and device location services during active workouts.

Payment Information. Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, processes purchase receipts to manage your subscription status.

3. AI-Powered Coaching

Cadra uses the Anthropic API (Claude) to generate personalized training plans and coaching guidance. Your fitness profile and workout history may be sent to Anthropic's servers to generate this content. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and does not use API inputs to train their models.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.

8. Children's Privacy

Cadra is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
